In today’s troubled world, more and more children and youth are living in conflict and crisis settings. Many in classrooms outside of these hotspots are also impacted by the violence experienced by extended family members and/or witnessed through social media. Social emotional learning is becoming more critical for all. To be relevant, local and global dynamics must influence decision making on how best to provide SEL programming and how to most appropriately measure the impact on vulnerable learners. The OECD and NYU have produced powerful research that can help guide us to best serve all of our students.
Join panelists Catharina Gress-Wright (Analyst, SEL Lead, Organisation for Co-operation and Development (OECD); Paris, France) and J.
